  • Partner with Marin County Free Library and local tech professionals to offer free monthly workshops on using AI tools safely: spotting scams and deepfakes, protecting privacy, and using AI for job searches and small business work. Offer sessions in Spanish and English, and in the Canal neighborhood and Marin City, so everyone benefits, not just people who already work in tech

De: What are your ideas for Marin's future?

  • As native resident, born and raised here, we need to improve the quality of life here. Biggest issue is the housing mandate and we need to reclaim our local control. Restore our local zoning and have smart growth through housing needs and zoning for people who want to live above businesses or build ADU’s. Keep private equity firms out by selling to actual people who need a place to live. Prioritize community over developers rather than allowing developers to dictate growth. Keep marin safe- keep county speed limit at 55 MPH and double the fines for violations.

De: What do you love most about Marin today?

  • Create and ensure adequate affordable housing for seniors and lower income adults in the county, so those who qualify can afford to pay rent or for housing loan and live in the county.

De: What do you love most about Marin today?

  • A county with a thriving 4-year health-focused university who can be at the forefront of teaching the next generation of leaders and workers in various health spaces.

De: What do you love most about Marin today?

  • Transportation from train depot in downtown San Rafael to Dominican University, which would encourage many, many more travelers to use the train. (DUC employs many who live in Novato, Sonoma County.

De: What do you love most about Marin today?

  • The protected space, the shared goal to make affordable housing but seek to define that housing according to environmental and aesthetics concern More fairs, town halls, and celebrations across communities. So that each pocket or small town in our county hosts a gathering for cross communication and neighborhood activities

De: What do you love most about Marin today?

  • The amount of open space and open viewable area. The fact that our cities are not vertically built/few call buildings, and no building on the tops of hillsides or mountains.

  • Two SAFETY ideas for Manzanita Park & Ride 1. Repair the pedestrian crossing signal at the car entrance to Manzanita Park & Ride. When I got off the Marin airporter in the dark I had to make a scary "run for it" across the street to get to the pedestrian/bike path headed for Tam Valley. I've discussed this with Mill Valley Public Works and they confirmed this is in your jurisdiction. 2. Install a REAL TIME camera so we know when Manzanita Park & Ride is actually flooded and when it is not. The only nearby real time gage is at Coyote Creek. I've discussed this with Michelle Jennings at Alert Marin if you'd like to know more. I am at 415-381-2464 (not a cell) Thank you and PLEASE take these requests SERIOUSLY
