Before the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium doors reopen, we want to learn from the places you already love. Whether it's a jazz club with great sightlines, a theater with a standout bar, a family-friendly matinee series, or an easy way to buy tickets, the details you notice elsewhere tell us what matters most to you. The Marin Center team will consider community input when planning programming, amenities, and the overall guest experience for the reopened VMA, so it becomes a venue that feels made for Marin.

For decades, the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium (VMA) has been where Marin gathers to see a show, celebrate a milestone, honor our veterans, and share an evening with neighbors. Today the VMA is under construction so it can continue serving the community for generations to come, with the first phase of work targeted for completion and reopening in January 2027.
As Marin Center prepares to welcome audiences back, we want the community to help shape what comes next. What would bring you back to the VMA? It could be a type of event, a specific performer or genre, an amenity, or something you've experienced at another venue that you'd love to have right here at home.
