Marin is mostly open space. It used to be you could take almost any road up into the hills and go camping, shooting, biking. That is how mountain bikes were invented here. The only way any trail or open space should be closed is after a detailed determination as to why and what the justification is. We should have more hunting and camping space in Marin. And when you are outdoors that is where you smoke - it is obscene to have a smoking bans in parks or outdoor areas. Cigarettes have been designed to go out on their own almost 20 years ago, you never see fires caused by them anymore. Let the people who want to smoke go outdoors and have a picnic or go hiking and leave them alone.
