A Bellydance Festival! Hi, I’m a professional bellydance teacher and performer based in San Rafael, and I would love to bring a dedicated Bellydance Festival to Marin. It could feature local and visiting dancers, workshops, performances, live music, and opportunities for the community to experience and celebrate this beautiful art form and culture. There are so many talented dance artists and students in our area, yet we often have to travel to other counties and cities to attend festivals, workshops, and cultural dance events. It would be wonderful to create something right here in Marin.
