My idea has already been shared but it's housing. I live in a junior one bedroom and will never be able to buy a house with my husband. It's a sad feeling being from such a beautiful place and have to worry so much about rent. I love my job and Marin County and am turning to multi-generational living to be able to stay here in the future. Look into zoning reforms, is there land not being utilized, help with stigma about what "affordable housing" means...whatever tax bracket we're in, we all deserve a safe place to liveand call home.

Housing - there's so much red tape with zoning, stigma of affordable housing and general opposition usually by folks making over $200K a year, help us!

I am a park ranger's daughter so I have long been enjoying our beautiful beaches and trails since birth, and now get to experience it in a different light as a mother and wife. What I love most is seeing those changes from when I was a kid. San Rafael High School has now been beautifully renovated, my favorite burrito place is still family owned, the restaurant scene in Marin is getting better...I love seeing longevity in some of our small town favorites but also that growth and change for the community.

Keep working on ways to help hard working people be able to live, and more importantly live well, here in Marin. There's an Eminem song, "I can't get by with my 9-5 and I can't provide the right type of life for my family." Keep finding ways to make housing and childcare more affordable; my son deserves way more than I am currently financially able to provide for him and I am sure other Marin families feel the same.

Second the advanced notice for volunteer days where employees and the public can rally together and help those in our community who need it, especially children and families in need!
