Traffic is already a problem (as is parking) in San Rafael particularly. With the advent of three new high rise residences, my neighbors and I have been discussing the necessity of shopping only in Terra Linda and points north. Some thought needs to be given to influx of a thousand more cars. Not to mention the demand for water we don't have for these structures.
