Increase access to communal recreation options- the old Marin Country Club was a gathering place with pools, dance pavilions, tennis courts, ping pong, etc. Now, those able to afford private clubs have options, but otherwise access to community recreation is so limited that it really doesn't exist. Build community by increasing access- not just hiking trails, but activities that bring people together.
