Currently, the lack of dedicated rental housing oversight remains a critical gap in our local housing policy. A well-designed rent board can serve as a neutral administrative platform fostering transparent expectations, reducing costly litigation, and encouraging stable, long-term tenancy for both housing providers and residents.
