Unemployed people who are receiving free housing but who are able bodied and sound minded should be required to work to give back for the support they’re receiving. Many have children and could work in child care centers, parks and recreation programs, etc. By working, they may receive training and exposure to jobs that would help them gain at least some level of independence.
