Ready Minds Marin: A neuroinclusive teen emergency-readiness pilot. Purpose: Train neurodivergent teens & teens with disabilities, ages 14–18, to become emergency-ready leaders at home, at school, & in neighborhoods. The pilot adapts existing county preparedness training so it works for every kind of brain and body. Alignment with: • Get Ready With Marin • Access & Functional Needs (AFN) Planning. • Teen CERT access: Certification requires full attendance: about 20 in-person hours + skills day. Many disabled/neurodivergent teens need accommodations to complete it. - The Marin County Youth Commission names Disability Justice as a focus area. The Pilot design (10–12 weeks, 20–30 teens) 1. Adapted CERT pathway: Chunked lessons, flexible pacing, sensory-friendly + sensory-friendly Skills Day 2. Adaptive learning coach: Online lessons run on In The Zone, Guardian Airwaves’ adaptive learning platform. 3.Calm Practice simulations of power shutoffs, evacuations. 4. Household readiness: MCIL
