Protect Marin's small school districts. Marin has excellent schools. Consolidating districts almost never improves school quality. And consolidating districts means that many children will need to travel farther to get to school, especially those in K-8 districts, thus there will be less walking/riding to school and more cars. To keep administrative costs down in small districts schools can share services, e.g. share a business manager, a superintendent, or other position. Counties with consolidated school districts uniformly have low-performing schools. If it's not broken, don't fix (change) it!
