We need to ban chemical fragrances, especially from laundromats. Scented laundry products are not unlike second-hand smoke. Off gassing VOCs are toxic. They are unhealthy for humans and wildlife and pollute the environment. We also need to provide access to public and essential buildings and services. Government office, medical, dental and veterinary hospital, clinic, office and pharmacy workers should be prevented from using perfumes, colognes or scented hair and skin products and/or clothing when working with members of the public who may have asthma, allergies, MCAS, MCS and similar health conditions. Public restrooms and facilities should be accessible to all and should contain unscented soap. They should not use plug in air fresheners , candles, scent diffusers or similar devices. Unscented cleaners - eg. alcohol or hydrogen peroxide should be used. Also "signature scents" that are pumped through hotels should be banned.
