Eliminate the SMART Train and use those proceeds for our roads. The SMART train is a financial diseaster - plus ridership is mininal. It is not reducing traffic on the 101 by any material amount. That's not going to change. Use the proceeds to repair our roads - which are in terrible shape. The current County budget for road repairs is far too low - just look at our roads. The current repairs are mostly resealing and not repaving. This is a poor use of money and a bandaid at best. Let's spend our money where Marin residence spend there time - driving. They are not on the SMART Train.
