With the increasing number of older adults in Ross, many more caregiver family members will be providing support to old adults with dementia. Marin needs critical respite care for caregivers, and not just at one county location (3-Cheers) that should be open soon to a small number of people with mild to moderate dementia. There are no excused to not provide this critical service in a county like Marin. Many can actually pay for the service and for those who can't there needs to be financial support. Don't wait until this is a crisis for the county.
