1) Invest in stronger tenant protections (Countywide). 2) More homebuying opportunities for low income individuals I am a 29 y/o, I am a proud product of Marin County. I attended Loma Verde elementary, San Jose middle school, Novato HS, and COM. Out of my 15 person High School group, I am the ONLY one left in Marin County. The reason? It is too expensive to be a young resident of this County. My group of friends who have been priced out of Marin County are nurses, teachers, program managers, caregivers, and police officers in other Counties/states. I am one more rent increase away from being priced out. We must invest more in tenant protections and homebuying opportunities for the people that keep this County running.
