  • The County of Marin should invest in a centralized adult education learning center to empower residents to overcome educational and language barriers, gain valuable employment skills, access livable-wage job opportunities, and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive local economy. By investing in adult education, Marin County can strengthen its workforce, address local employment needs, increase economic productivity, and build a more prosperous community where all residents have the opportunity to succeed.

  • Build a new civic center in downtown San Rafael. Move that workforce to downtown, so it has an actual anchor of people that can allow businesses to grow long term, give reasons to invest in that area, build housing around it. Redevelop the existing building into a mixed use residential, retail, farmers market. I’ve lived in Marin since 2005 and downtown has been dead the entire time. There aren’t enough people day to day to support any actual redevelopment downtown. Time to evolve and stop wasting the economic impact all the county workers can provide, by having it out in the suburbs

  • Make Marin more sustainable by encouraging residents to use electric powered vehicles and solar power. Give rebates for solar panels and help residents acquire electric vehicles. Make all county vehicles and buses electric.
